Stay along for some spirit feeding Bible verses and a Bible story that will leave you inspired and speechless. Believe. An easy word to say, to read, but do you know what is means? Believe means, “accept (something) as true; feel sure of the truth of”. What? Basically, believe means to trust that something is right or that someone, for example, is telling the truth. To believe they are telling you the truth and nothing else. You “feel sure of” it. I know that usually I don’t share a Bible story this early into a post but today we are going to switch it up. Just like I have been doing since the beginning of the blog post with the French introduction 😂. Today we are going to talk about Thomas; one of Jesus’s twelve disciples. It took for him to see to believe ( you’ll find out what or whom in a minute ), that something was true rather than believing without seeing.

Bible Story 〰️

The first time Jesus appeared to the disciples, after the Resurrection, Thomas wasn’t there. When Thomas came back, to the house where Jesus appeared to the disciples, He had already left. The disciples told him that Jesus had been there but Thomas didn’t believe them. He told them he wouldn’t believe until he put his fingers in Jesus’s wounds. John 20:26-27,” A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.Thomas believed them. Jesus had risen! BUT it took for him to SEE to believe rather than believing without seeing. Is it hard to believe without seeing? Sure is. BUT let’s believe that Jesus rose again thousands of years ago, and that He loves us, cares for us, etc. This is what Jesus said in John 20:29 after he appeared to Thomas, “Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

AMEN! Thank you guys so much for reading as always! Stay fed!!! Read your Bible, pray, go to church, etc. Love you all ❤️! See you in August!
