Blog 18: Graduating

The school year is over. Summer here we come, lol! Today’s topic is “Graduating”. You might have graduated this year and you are heading to middle school, high school, or maybe even college. You might have just finished another regular school year and moving on to the next grade. I have a big question for us to talk about today. Will you be graduating into Heaven? We need to go step by step to answer this together. Let’s get into it!
What I mean by this question is, you may have graduated from another part in your school journey but when Jesus comes to bring us Home will we be ready? Will we be able to say “I have shared the love of Jesus with others and I believe you died for me?”. The overall question is this, will our Father be able to say to each of us, “Well done good and faithful servant”? Take a minute and think on that. Will He be able to say that to you? Will he be able to say that to me?
In Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus says, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
We know Jesus is planning to come back come for us and bring us Home. Time is ticking. Everyday that goes by is closer to the day Jesus will come for us. Let’s be wise and pay attention to what Jesus is saying. So let’s go get ready to throw our caps and be with our Heavenly Father! I want to see us all graduate from Earth into Heaven.
This is June 8th. A new month. I encourage you to share the love of Jesus with at least 2 people before the end of the month. Who knows? Maybe you will change someone’s life. Have a great weekend my fellow graduates 🎓 !
